Month 5
Week 15
Aqua Man has left for his forever home in New Jersey. We're still working on a name, but initial reports indicate he's making a graceful and confident transition. Will post photos and updates as they come in.
Week 10 --
This guy just keeps getting cuter and cuter!
Week 8 -- Aqua Man did not take a good picture today. I'll try again tomorrow with him. (I guess tomorrow never came!)
Week 6
Another force of nature, Aqua is one of the few puppies able to keep Purple in line and if she tries to get too rough with him he gives it right back to her! Aqua Man is a happy puppy and very full of himself. He struts around like a peacock in full plumage saying "Look at me!!!"
Aqua Man is one happy puppy! His tail is always wagging, he never cries, never shows any signs of discontent, always wants to be first in line for attention, follows me everywhere with his eyes and has recently learned he can climb out of the whelping box with his brothers and sisters. Once out of the box he scampers about pouncing on anything that catches his attention. Ahhh, the joy of simple discovery! And he runs with a heavy foot. This one puppy sounds like the whole pack as thumps across the room. He's too funny to watch -- I bet he finds himself an imaginary friend some day.
Week 2
Aqua Man was the first puppy to give me a real kiss. After his bottle a few nights ago he threw back his head, climbed up to my chin and planted a solid little lick on it before making a grab for my lip and sucking on it so hard he gave me a blood blister! But now that's like a little routine we have after every feeding. He throws his head back, licks my chin and cuddles with me for a few minutes before going back into the whelping box. He's another one who looks for me and is always ready for a quick kiss or pat on the head.
Week 1
At long last, my little Aqua Man. I can't say I have a favorite puppy, but I really love this little guy's coloring and I sure do hope he turns out to be a show dog with lots of attitude and confidence. At first I thought he was another love bug like Naked Boy, but the longer I get to know him, I think "complicated" describes him best. At times he's just the sweetest boy you'd ever want to meet -- but he has an edgy, dangerous side to him that's kind of playful but could be boldness too. Of all the puppies, he and Teal girl are the two most likely to get in trouble with mom. 8 times out of 10 if she corrects a puppy, it's either Aqua Man or Teal Girl she's correcting. The funny thing is, they don't seem to care, they keep coming back for more!
