Basset Breeder Links
Obie's Bassets -- Both Booker and Bobbi come from the Obie lines. This site has lots of photos of their aunts, uncles, grand parents, etc., which is a superb resource when looking at lineage and what traits are being passed on from generation to generation.

Hound Hollow Bassets -- Though Booker's mother and father came from Obie lines, he was bred at Hound Hollow in 2003. I can't believe my Mr. Cutie Patootie Pants will be SIX in July! Here you can see photos of Booker's mother, father, brother and sister. Joan and Jurgen are also wonderful artists, so if you're looking for basset crap, this is an excellent source of unique gifts.

Chasan Bassets -- Booker and Bobbi also have a lot of Chasan in their lineage, so I thought adding a link here would be a good idea. This site also has a lot of pedigree information on it and I found it incredibly helpful as I researched Booker's pedigree. In fact, I may have even found a genetic link that goes back to Hoover, my first basset!

Rescue Links
Basset Rescue of Old Dominion -- This is kinda sorta where it all began for me. After reading Diane Morgan's book "The Basset Hound Owner's Survival Guide" I found my way to BROOD,Inc., and from there I met the "show crowd" and the rest is history.

Club Links
Basset Hound Club of America -- This is the parent club for all AKC registered basset hound clubs. This site has information on performance events such as field trials, tracking, etc., the basset hound standard, a breeder referral list, links for the 2008 National Specialty, and lots more.

Potomac Basset Hound Club -- This is my local basset club, though it's located down in Virginia, which makes it difficult for me to attend meetings and get involved.

Wilmington Kennel Club -- this is my local All Breed club where we train for agility, attend handling classes, seminars, etc. Each year we hold two point shows (conformation) in the Spring, a two-day Spring agility trial, a two-day Fall agility trial, an AKC sanctioned B-Match, several obedience Show and Go's, a full repertoire of training classes (Obedience, Rally, Agility, socialization, etc) and many informational seminars. This club is very active within the state of Delaware and has raised funds for canine oxygen masks for state fire departments and canine bullet proof vests for the state's police dogs.
